TUNISIA

No visa required for up to 3 months stay.
 

LIBYA

Tranis visas are available from the Libyan Consulate in Tunis N36 50.225 E10 09.389, your passport must be
translated into Arabic and you require a letter aslo translated into Arabic addressed to the Consulate, advising
your passport details, your car details, who you are travelling with and your intended route.  You drop this into the
Consulate and wait 10 days as they have to send it to Tripoli.  When you go back you must fill out a visa application
form, provide one photo each and the visa costs 31TD which gives you a 7 day Visa.

If you require a tourist visa for longer than 7 days, this must be arranged through an agency.


EGYPT

Visas valid for 6 months from date of issue and allow a maximum stay of 3 months in Egypt from arrival date.
One entry - £15.00, Multiple entry - £18.00.

SUDAN

Visas can be obtained for neighbouring countries.  Valid for 1 month from date of issue, period of stay 1 month from date of entry.  Cost $100.
Paperwork required: 2 completed visa entry application forms, passport, 2 photos, letter of introduction which can be obtained for the British Embassy in Cairo.  Visa issued within 1hr

Visas can be obtained from the Moyale border.  Or can be obtained from Kenya Embassy in Khartoum

UGANDA

Visas can be obtained at all major borders.  Single entry 1 month US$50 must be paid in dollars.


RWANDA

Just a stamp at the border free for British citizens gives you 3 months entry

TANZANIA

Visas can be obtained at the border.  Single entry 3 months US$50.


MALAWI

Automatically issued a 30 day tourist visa at point of entry at no cost.


ZAMBIA

Visas can be obtained at most borders.  For UK citizens single entry 1 month costs $150
Must have reflector tape for the front and back of Land Rover, also require yellow fever certificate.

Visa waivers are no longer available.


BOTSWANA

No visa required, on arrival you will get a 90 day entrance stamp.


NAMIBIA

No visa required, can stay for 90 days free.


SOUTH AFRICA

No visa required, issued entry permit entitling 90 days stay on arrival.
